happy easter

i am in a bad mood. So im hoping by rambling on here i can distract myself from th storm brewing inside my head.

Mick took me to wallaroo last weekend. Was nice. Got heaps of photos to post here but i cant be bothered going thru th 120 photos n picking th best to post. Itll happen. Just not today.

Caught up with an old m8 over th wknd, havent seen simo in about just over a year i reckon. Was really good to see him n his daughter, his little girl is th same age as mikael n they get along gr8 so it was cool that they got to hang out a bit after not seeing each other for so long.

Its easter monday, 10am n im still laying in bed wondering what i should do today. Lazy hey. Got up earlier n made kaels breakfast then went straight back to bed. Doing well!

I still feel like shit. This hasnt worked at all.

My car is fkd again. After i posted that last car whinge my heater coil shit itself n is leaking water n coolant inside my dash.

Its not funny and somebody up there fucking hates me.

So i can either fork out ANOTHER $600 to fix it, or i could get someone to bypass th heater coil out of th cooling system completely by joining 2 hoses. Its that easy.
It just means getting in my car in th mornings when its cold is going to be hell.
My car is turning into a bucket.

Apart from that, am definately realising that life is actually pretty hard, especially when your boyfriend (or ex should i say) isnt handing you $500 odd a week so you can put it towards th house n 'do what you see fit with it.' (i didnt ask for it to be that way, its just how it was. And i got used to it hardcore. Be self reliant people. Thats my advice. Then it isnt so much a shock when you have to actually do something by yourself!)

Caught up with another good m8 i havent seen in ages, i finally got hold of th colonel. Elusive white rabbit he turned out to be. He said he was quite impressed with my secret stealth spy skills in tracking him down.
Points for me.

Well i re-read th post be4 this one and got slightly annoyed.
$350 - $400? I fn wish.
Th exhaust place cost me $120. I spent $210 on th cooling system that said monday, only to get th car back still overheating like a dying horse. Not happy jan.
I then got advised to take her into a radiator specialist to get it flushed, which i did, which cost me another $150. Only to get th car back STILL OVERHEATING. Now all this time i was asking for th water pump to be checked, as everything else bar th radiator blockage had already been checked or replaced since xmas. Both mechanics told me 'nah they arent waterpump symptoms, no point'
So after spending $360 dollars in one day at 2 different places over th same fn problem i had had enough.
I pretty much stormed back into th radiator place and said 'th problem still isnt fixed. I have spent alot of money. I cant afford it but it looks like i have to spend more money, PLEASE CHECK MY WATERPUMP.
So they book me in, to cut a long story short, they took off th waterpump, saw it was fine, showed me it was fine and put it back on. Because they felt sorry for me they didnt charge me for th work (kind of them tho i would have been pretty pissed if they DID charge me) and told me to take it to somebody else who had a computer reader that would tell us exactly what was wrong with it. So miraculously on my way to th mechanic, no heating problems. Fine. Car back to normal n running sweet. I took it to th guy i was recommended to take it to neway n he hooked her up to th reader n she was fine. Idling at 103c running at 92c. Drove her round for half an hour hooked up, and still fine.
So i am not a mechanic but my original theory seems to stick.
Back in december we blew a heater hose joiner while out fishing. It was one massive head fuck and if u can be bothered check th archives for a title, something about plastic joiners n heater hoses.
Aaaanyway.. My theory is that a piece of this old plastic joiner broke off n didnt get taken out of th block when we replaced th joiner. It had worked its way thru th cooling system and had somehow wedged into th waterpump ridges preventing it turning as smoothly. Maybe even stopping it completely, because watching ur temperature guage go from a line above cold to a line under hot in 5th gear at 120km per hour on th highway just isnt normal people.
So thats my theory and with all th evidence gathered, thats th only theory i can come up with :)

turtle soup

as i have mentioned before (i think) we have a gate in our back fence that opens onto th river walking trail, theres a hill/mound of dirt between th path n back fence (which i assume is for residents privacy) this unimportant piece of information seems irrelevant doesnt it, bear with me..
So mick decided he would dig some steps into th hill to make it easier 2 get up n down. As he was digging he found a group of buried eggs, at first he thought they were snake eggs but then he found hatched turtles under them. Th soil th eggs were packed into was rock hard for starters and im not sure what mummy turtle was thinking when she layed them on th opposite side of th hill to th river. Ants had found their way into th nest n alot of th eggs have holes n seem hollow, he didnt leave them where he found them because of th ants, and besides, th river has no water at th moment so he brought them back home. 4 were hatched already n one was hatching so mick gave it a hand. So now we have 5 baby turtles in a fishtank in th kitchen. Mick fed them bloodworms yesterday n they seem to be eating so hopefully they all will be ok. Th rest of th eggs are in a wooden bowl, im trying to keep them at 28c but unfortunately they feel real light n im not sure they are living. i dont really know what to do. Th one mick helped out of th egg is slower than th rest n doesnt do much but sit on a rock with his eyes shut. I hope he makes it.
Donatello, raphael, leonardo. Oh my god i cant remember th 4th ninja turtle. Tragedy.
