well i have not posted for a while. life has been a little crap and not much really worth posting about. but hey! here goes an attempt, if i can remember how lol

mikael has started soccer, his best friends dad coaches the team and talked me into signing mikael up for the under 8's, which is great! he's enjoying it and i must admit i love watching him play, these 7 year olds, they get quite competitive! its great, like a heap of miniature david beckham wanna-bes running around on the field :) i have turned into one of those mad soccer mums road raging everybody as im driving (behind schedule as usual) to the early morning saturday games, and cheering when a member of the opposing team takes a fall and loses the ball (terrible arent i!)

Winter is setting in, which sucks. my lawn is growing way too fast and i swear ive gotten mick to mow it like 3 times in the last 7 weeks, which is a little ridiculous.. my tomatoes are still going nutso trying to climb the house and producing more cherry tomatoes than it can handle, which is cool, but a little confusing, i thought tomatoes should have died off by now?

my car is on its death bed AGAIN. my clutch is on its way out whiiiich is going to cost me about 700 dollars to fix. Unless i can find someone willing to do it mates rates which would cost $250 for the parts i need and $50 for a bottle?.... much more preferable to $700....
and it runs out of rego this week so i think i might just walk for a while until i can figure out which fucken orifice im going to pull the money for repairs n rego out of....

well this was a crap attempt at blogging. all i have really acheived is one big whinge. but i did it! hopefully things will pick up a bit soon and i will have better things to write about next time.

mums birthday dinner at th southern

It was mums birthday yesterday so my sister, her boyfriend, mum, cliff, mums friend lorraine, mick, mikael and i all went out to dinner last night at gawler to celebrate.
it was a really nice night.
i had t bone steak with dianne sauce, mikael had fish n chips and mick had roast of th day.
We got mum a really nice heart shaped gold pendant, she loved it :)

MERRY FREAKIN CHRISTMAS!!

well christmas is nearly upon us all again, i feel a bit freaked out as i am not really organised for anything yet, we are planning to go away after christmas on a holiday to see micks mum then hopefully onto sceales for a fishing trip but nothing seems certain at th moment.
it would be nice to get away out of th city for a bit, im feeling a little trapped and claustrophobic.
mick picked up a new car yesterday, a vp wagon. its a good car, seems fine mechanically, dual fuel, plenty of room, a sexy dark blue colour :) hes happy and im glad hes got something reliable to get to work in. and it will help getting all our crap into it for when we (hopefully) go away.
its quite hot today, 39c i guess summer has hit. we had a bit of a heat wave in late november but its been sorta liveable since then. last week we were looking at aivaries at a bird place and we noticed these rustic ladders for parrots and budgies that were made out of tree branches and screws. they looked pretty cool but were rather expensive. on th weekend mick trimmed th fruit trees out th back and we started making a large version for th chookens thinking it would be a piece of cake. then i had th dumb ass idea of "if we chiseled one side of each piece of wood they might sit together better." dumb idea, all it did was make it alot more hard work. but it does look good. got one rung to finish and then in with th chickens it goes!

my sister n her boyfriend wanted to do some fishing today so i thought id go along just for th hell of it. i was going to do some fishing but it was really windy n horrible with an on-shore wind, so i was pretty stoked when kyra started building a sand castle.
so i joined in.
and we made it ALOT bigger.

i went to my cousins wedding on th weekend (which was why i was shoe shopping. i fell in love with those shoes but i went with flats as th final choice because i didnt think i could walk in th heels all day)

mikael looked gorgeous as usual.
the wedding was amazing, beautiful reception, beautiful venue. and it held off raining until after th ceremony so that was good.

th garden is growing well, my tomatoes are really high now, got lots of fruit on them but they are all green still. i love cherry tomatoes and i cant wait, it looks like its going to be a good harvest :)

i suck at golf but i try! th night of th wedding we were over there in th rain at 3am drunk as truckers, still in our dresses n wedding clothes, and i seemed to be hitting better than i usually do... wierd...

this morning at th outlet it was quite strange weather. it wasnt exactly cold but it wasnt warm, it was overcast but strangely calm. like before a storm builds. then on my way home i saw this
but no sign of any storm yet!

im sitting here listening to fresh fm (which is going off tap at th moment) and having a coffee, pretty bored, so i thought id do a post :)

last thursday i picked up some cheap carrots with th idea of giving them to th horses. so when mick got home from work we went for a wander through th back fence.
the carrots were very much appreciated.

we went to the park last friday after mick got home from work. Took his nitro petrol car to run it in the skate bowls. That thing goes fucking fast excuse my french.
Then we joined mikael on th play equiptment lol

yesterday it was really hot, i dropped mikael at school in th morning n drove over to the beach, like 2 roads away from his school :) and saw this

so i decided i would go home and get th dog and go for a swim.
by th time i actually got there (procrastinating as usual) we got about half an hour in th water before this..
so we got out, dried off a bit n went home -athena is so freaking camera shy! she wont look at the camera very often, even if i call her. i dont think she realises that th flash doesnt work in broad daylight roflmao
the garden is looking great at the moment! i cant say its going to look this good in about a months time after the heat starts to set in, and i dont want to think what it will be like after 3 months time! but at the moment the sunflowers are a good 6 feet tall and starting to open up, my hollyhocks havent opened up yet but they also are at least 6 foot tall with flowers buds all up the main stem, the buds have been there for ages, ive been waiting for them to open but they just keep getting bigger?! i suppose it will be really spectacular when it finally opens lol
theres fruit on th apricot tree and my strawberry plant is trying hard (although th fruit keeps rotting on th ground - time for pea straw i think) and the tomatoes down th side are going absolutely boonta! ill have to get some pictures of those :)

we had our yearly family get together games early october,
everybody was there except laura, whos on duty in port augusta poor constable rayment lol jade pj and zac couldnt make it from sydney and aunty sue and uncle rob who were in melbourne. cliff and uncle danny put in a late appearance due to work commitments, but it was great they made it :)

i havent updated in a while, my desktop picture collection is getting a little big (pictures ive picked out for my blog) so i thought i better use them and make some space!

we got our tomato plants in the weekend before fathers day, so hopefully we will get buckets of tomatoes this year. a cherry tomato and a normal tomato. normal tomato?!? lol
that bag right there is horse poo so our tomatoes cant say we are starving them..and this is the little garden mick made next to the pond. it was a real engineering feat that one, he dug a hole for the pond and didnt know what to do with th leftover dirt, so voila! a raised bed was born!

fathers day was rather uneventful for us, mikael spent most of the day with his dad and we stuffed around in the garden before going for a night ride into the city.
